Dr. Herron earned his undergraduate degree
from Rhodes College in Memphis.

He received his M.D. at Vanderbilt
University in Nashville where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha
(Honor Medical Society).

He served his internship residency at
the University of Iowa in Iowa City.

He is Board Certified by the American
Board of Ophthalmology with fellowship in the American Academy of
Ophthalmology.

PERSONAL

For Dr. Herron, his interest in the workings of the human
eye as well as his desire to help people of all ages see better, drove
him to become an ophthalmologist. Dr. Herron is a native of
Jackson
and was delighted at the opportunity to return to his home town to
practice ophthalmology.

Dr. Herron spends his free time traveling, surfing the
internet, exercising, and spending time with his wife, his four children
and his eight grandchildren.
