EDUCATION
Dr. Jerry Jernigan received his M.D. from
Vanderbilt University, where he also completed his undergraduate degree.
He served his internship at the University
of Colorado.
He completed his residency at the University
of Mississippi Medical Center.
He is Board Eligible by the American
Board of Ophthalmology with fellowship in the American Academy of
Ophthalmology.

Dr. Jerry Jernigan was
inspired to become an ophthalmologist by a doctor he met in the Navy at
their School of
Aviation, School of Medicine.

A native of Dyersburg,
Dr. Jernigan was pleased to join the Eye Clinic and be in the company of
other high quality physicians.

His hobbies include
flying, traveling and music.
